Times of Testing

What will you do when times of testing cause you to doubt God? How can you respond in such a way that honors God?

In the book of Hebrews, the church is under a cloud of persecution (Hebrews 10:32-34). They’ve suffered the loss of their jobs, relationships, reputation, possessions, and more. How will they respond to God? Will they continue to believe? Will they return to what’s familiar or comfortable? Or will they even harden their hearts toward Jesus in unbelief?

How will we respond when we get in a tough spot? Has adversity taken its toll on you? Our response must not be self-preservation, but trusting God regardless of present circumstances or the outcome of those circumstances. Trust Him.
