Children’s Ministry Hygiene and Cleanliness

Hygiene and Cleanliness

For the safety of our children and volunteers, all linens and aprons are washed, all toys are disinfected, and table surfaces are sanitized after each use. Volunteers wear non-latex gloves when changing diapers or helping with toilet training. Hand-washing is practiced by both volunteers and children while in the nursery, toddlers, and elementary areas.

Health and Safety

In order to insure the safety and health of other children and volunteers, please do not bring your child if they have had any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours:

Cold Symptoms, Nasal Discharge, Fever, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Sore Throat, Skin Rash, Cold Sores, Measles, Chicken Pox, Impetigo, Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye). In addition, children experiencing severe allergy symptoms (runny nose, coughing, sneezing).  should stay at home as it is difficult to differentiate between allergies and a cold in early stages.

Please help us provide a healthy, safe environment by closely monitoring your children for any symptoms and, especially, for being understanding if we feel we cannot accept your kids into our programs due to health concerns.
