The “tipping point” of the early church, recorded in ACTS 8, was the outbreak of persecution, where the word-of-mouth testimonies about Jesus Christ from a few individuals had significant, sudden impact taking the Gospel from Jerusalem, to Judea and Samaria and on to the ends of the earth. Believers in Jesus who face persecution faithfully can positively impact His church and bring glory to His Name.
