Loving Well thru Church Discipline
The church in Corinth had been harboring a flagrant sinner for quite a while (1 Corinthians 5:1-13). Paul said plainly that their arrogance had led to complacency with sin, but it was time to for them to “remove the evil person” from their community of believers
Church discipline is never convenient or easy, but is necessary for flagrant sinners who are not willing to change their sinful behavior. Our relationship with people inside the church and our reputation with those outside the church is at stake. How? John Adair walks us through how to handle church discipline within the church and build relationships rather than judgement with unbelievers.
