Fully Equipped for the Future

Paul opens his letter to the flawed fellowship at Corinth by giving thanks for their position in Christ and for the privileges they had been given when they were set apart to God at their new birth (1 Corinthians 1:1-9). As a local church, they were fully equipped through their relationship with God in Christ to live an authentic life until the day of His appearing.
