Weeding Out Worldly Wisdom

The pattern of this world exerts a subtle influence that threatens to distract us from what’s important and distort the truth that can free us from the power and penalty of sin. In 1 Corinthians 1:18-25, Paul contrasts the wisdom of the world with the seemingly foolishness of the cross of Jesus Christ. As we put into practice the wisdom of God’s Word, we become authentic Christians living out the Good News in this world.
