Imagine you’re a parent leaving instructions for your kids. You say to them, “I’m leaving for the grocery store and will be back soon. While I’m gone, I want you to vacuum every room in the house. The vacuum cleaner is in the laundry room. Use it before I get back.” So when you return, what’s the first question you ask? How would you respond if your kids said, “Well… I didn’t vacuum, but I did feed and walk the dogs. I didn’t vacuum, but I emptied the dish washer? I didn’t vacuum because I got distracted… I was too busy doing something else”

When our Lord Jesus left this Earth, He gave the disciples (that includes us today) ONE important task: Be WITNESSES to His life, death, and resurrection (Acts 1:8). Be WITNESSES of who He is and of what He has done until He returns (Acts 1:10-11).
