Faithful Fathers

How do I know if I’m a good father? When success in parenting or ministry becomes the same as success in the world, the servant of God evaluates success like a farmer, businessman, athlete or a politician. You look for increases size and growth, nickels or noses. Whom you are trying to please, however, determines what you will do to please them. Are you evaluating yourself and your ministry from God’s point of view, trying to please people, or with the world’s standard of quantitative analysis?

Success as a servant of God and a good father is summed up in one biblical word: Faithful. Praise God for being a faithful Heavenly Father to us.  Larry Murray continues our series about Authentic Christianity from 1 Corinthians 4:1-5.
