Palm Sunday People
When Jesus entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday prior to His crucifixion, on His way to the cross, there were three groups of people – the Pharisees, the disciples, and the crowds (see Matthew 21:1–11; Luke 19:39–40). In 1 Corinthians, Paul describes three groups of people similar to those found on the road to Jerusalem.
Jesus differentiates the pretenders and the posers from those who are progressing in their walk with Him. Life with Jesus requires a decision whether you make an active one or a passive one. Are you ignoring and rejecting Him? Are you wholeheartedly following Him? Or merely acknowledging Him as a Christian? What have you decided about Him?
