Communion Community

The Bible communicates the gathering of the church is something far greater than a club, a classroom, a concert, a contest, a cafeteria, or a commitment. The church is the physical body of Christ gathered and unified to remember Christ’s redemption and proclaim His salvation until He returns (1 Corinthians 11:17-34). Central to our regular, weekly gathering is our celebration of the Lord’s Table. The Lord’s Table is to glorify Christ and build up His body, but in Corinth it revealed a problem. What God intended as a time of unity had become a time of division.
