Trusting God to Provide

When Abraham went up on the mountain in obedience to sacrifice Isaac (Genesis 22), the Angel of the Lord said, “now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your only son from me” (Genesis 22:12). For us today, one of the greatest tests of our faith in God is our willingness to sacrifice our money as we trust Him to provide. 

When we give to the Lord Jesus generously and cheerfully, He promises to provide everything we need to live for Him and serve Him (2 Corinthians 9:6-8). The purpose of God’s promise is that we’ll have everything we need to do everything He has called us to do.

Are you giving generously and cheerfully to the work of the Lord? Are you trusting Him to provide for everything you need as you give sacrificially?

The Lord will provide (Genesis 22:14, 2 Corinthians 9:8). Giving is living and living is giving.
